About me
I do alkynes of things outside of UX
When I'm not designing you can find me studying mycology, checking out the Vancouver craft brewery scene, and subjecting my friends to terrible chemistry jokes.

I fell in love with UX design while working as a research chemist at UBC during COVID-19.
After the university was forced to close its doors, I was tasked with creating a way for both scientists and students alike to conduct experiments remotely.

I worked alongside two incredible co-op students to create a system that allowed users to control chemistry lab equipment using Apple's Siri.

During this project, I fell in love with the design process. I found myself excited to get to work every morning for the very first time.

I started reading UX design books and listening to design podcasts, which eventually lead me to learn about BrainStation.

Â
Once my contract was up, I knew I had to take the plunge and enrolled in BrainStation's UX design program to pursue my passion.

Now that I've graduated from BrainStation, I can't wait to see where the world of UX design will take me next!
